My name is Ben Friday and this is the website for all my personal endeavours. It first went online in 2004 and it's become a hobby to fill it with interesting bits of imagery and info. There's lots to see and a visit isn't complete without a glance at the random image gallery and projects page.

Back in 2005, I left my day job as a web developer and started up my freelance entity, Friday Photo & Design. In the time since I started on my own, I've built over 40 complete website projects for clients all over the world (but mostly in BC).

In addition to my website work, I'm also a professional graphic designer, photographer, sound recordist and video editor. On the side, I build inventions from wood, plastic, metal and fiberglass.

With the exception of a spell in Calgary and Australia, Nanaimo in southwestern Canada is where I've been for most of my life. It's a nice pace for those seeking to forgo with the whole rat race. I work from a home I share with the lovely Willow and the talented Ocean.
