Temps up! (Jul 18th, 2005)

It took quite some time but the heat is finally here it seems. The weather scientists tell me that there's nothing but sun in our immediate future. My plants are excited - they've built quite the root systems for themselves and are prepared to kick the growing into high gear.

Spent the weekend with a close friend at her family's place in Chilliwack. Had a great time and got some cool shots while we were kayaking yesterday.

An oddly cold July (Jul 10th, 2005)

Isn't July supposed to be the time of year where you sleep downstairs because you stick to your bed if you dare try to slumper upstairs? Our July sure isn't so far. I think I've only slept with the door open once or twice so far. Still more than two weeks to go though, maybe there's a scorcher on the horizon.
