Jerry Whitehead's Art (May 22nd, 2008)

My friend Gary had been collecting original works from this Vancouver man for over a year before I met him. His paintings blend his own very colourful style with images of First Nations Pow Wow Dancers, a big part of his childhood. After meeting Jerry I agreed to develop him a new site in exchange for some of his work. So last week I got this 60"x24" original painting from him in the mail. Thanks Jerry, it's beatiful! The New Ride (May 22nd, 2008)

The rising cost of fuel and the immobility of Willow's car got me thinking about alternate forms of transportation earlier this year. A good friend of mine purchased an electric scooter in Feb, spurring me on a research tangent looking into this new kind of mobility.

I found an EVT 4000e for sale in Victoria (150km south) and did the appropriate homework and decided it was exactly what I wanted. One test drive was all it took to seal the deal. It's a fabulous mode of transportation!

Custom Pink Shoes (May 22nd, 2008)

The other day Ocean got some new shoes that she though looked a little too 'boyish' for her girley tastes. Upon my suggestion, she immediately took to the idea of a paint job. She masked, applied several coats of a base pink, added black details and clear coated. Voila!
