The rains ... o' the rains (Oct 30th, 2005)

At least it doesn't rain all day every day. But, I remember, that's what winter is like here quite often. Last night was nice anyway. Spent the evening meeting new people, sitting around a fire with some guitar accompaniment, while dressed as 'the ultimate nerd landscape photographer'. Good times.

This shot is from a hike I did at Morell last weekend. Not sure of the species, but it was tiny. That's some moss and pine needles for scale.

Winterish Hiking Trip (Oct 2nd, 2005)

I hadn't thought that it might snow at the higher elevations we were to visit this weekend, but it happened. Had a wicked time ascending, descending, ascending, etc. with the gang from Malaspina over the last couple days. Here's a wicked 20 minute exposure I did of the norther sky.
