C'est L'Halloween! (Oct 31st, 2006)

It's upon us again. The celebration of all things ghoulish. A time when you can where the strangest outfit imaginable and still get high-fives from your friends.

I foresee a chilly night for our trick 'r treat 'rs in the streets of Nanaimo. It got to zero celcius by the start of the evening last night. This morning as the sun crept over the horizon it was apparently four below. Brrrrr... that's some serious cold.

Vertigo (Oct 23rd, 2006)

So I've added a new past time to my world, climbing. Turns out it's a pretty good workout. Here's a photo of Ocean doing some bouldering at our local climbing gym. She's a natural on the walls.

Bought loads of steel this weekend. Enough to transform my 200 sq ft. area into a metalworking shop complete with welding table and material storage racks. Stay tuned for photos ...

Welding Glory (Oct 8th, 2006)

It's Thanksgiving, among moments of pure eating glory today I gave my sister a welded gift. It was the first of many to come out of my shop in the near and distant future. Welding is good clean fun.
